ADVISORY · SYSTEMS AND DATA HEALTH CHECK

A clear view of the systems and data behind your trade business, within 15 working days.

For HVAC, plumbing, heating, electrical and property maintenance contractors. We look at how a job moves from the first call to the paid invoice, how clean your customer, equipment and service plan data is, and where time and money are leaking. You receive a costed 90-day plan within 15 working days from the agreed start, and it is yours to keep whoever does the work.

Fixed fee, agreed before we start. No software commissions.

The questions it answers

  • Where does a job slow down between the first call and the paid invoice?
  • Are you getting full value from the job management software you already pay for?
  • How clean is your customer, site, equipment and service plan data?
  • Which job types, technicians and lead sources actually make money?
  • How many service plans lapsed last year without a renewal call?
  • What should be joined up between your job system, accounts and payroll?
  • What should you fix in the next 90 days, in what order, and at what cost?

What you receive

  • Job flow map, enquiry to cash
  • Systems and integrations inventory
  • Data quality score
  • KPI baseline
  • Five biggest leaks, costed
  • Revenue opportunities in your own data
  • Costed 90-day plan
How the Health Check runs

Focused input, with delivery within 15 working days.

The stages below happen between the agreed start and delivery. They are not full-time consulting days or fixed daily milestones.

01

Agree the scope and access

A 60-minute kick-off call confirms the scope, the people we need to speak to and read-only access to the relevant systems.

02

Listen and look

We speak with the owner, the office and two or three engineers, then review how work moves through the job system and accounts.

03

Measure and prioritise

We score the data, establish the KPI baseline and put a cost on the operational leaks and revenue opportunities we find.

04

Present the findings

We walk you through the findings and priorities in a 90-minute session, then provide the written 90-day plan.

Choose the right starting point

A focused review or a wider health check?

Both are independent advisory engagements. The difference is breadth: one answers a defined question; the other examines the connected systems, data and processes behind the business.

For a defined system or operational question

Business Systems Review

A focused review when the problem is already reasonably clear and you need an independent view before making a decision.

  • One defined system, workflow or decision
  • Focused stakeholder input and evidence review
  • Clear findings and practical next steps
  • Best when the brief can be tightly bounded

For a broader view across the business

Systems and Data Health Check

A wider assessment of how systems, data and processes work together, where value is leaking and what to tackle first.

  • The connected systems and data landscape
  • Operational workflows, risks and reporting
  • Prioritised findings and a costed 90-day plan
  • Delivered within 15 working days from the agreed start

What we need from you

Enough access to see the business properly.

About four hours of the owner's time across the engagement, one hour with the office lead, 20 minutes each with two or three engineers, and read-only access to your job management and accounts systems. This input is spread across the turnaround; it is not 15 days of your team's time.
