An independent view on one system, workflow or decision.
Sometimes the question is already clear: is this system worth keeping, why does this workflow keep breaking, should we make this change now? The Business Systems Review is a focused pilot engagement for that kind of question. We agree a tight brief, look at the evidence, talk to the people closest to the work, and give you a straight answer with practical next steps. It deliberately does not cover your wider systems and data landscape; that is what the Systems and Data Health Check is for.
How we help
Scoped from an assessment, then delivered.
One defined scope
We agree a single system, workflow or operational decision up front, so the review stays focused and the answer stays useful.
Focused stakeholder input
Short conversations with the few people who use, own or depend on the area under review, rather than a business-wide programme.
Evidence review
We look at how the system or workflow actually behaves (configuration, data, reports and handovers) rather than relying on opinion alone.
Clear findings and next steps
A concise write-up of what we found, what it means, and the practical options open to you, including when the right answer is to leave things as they are.
Why it matters
Answer the question in front of you first.
A tightly bounded review gives you an independent decision without committing to a wider assessment. If the findings point to broader issues, we will say so and you can decide whether a Health Check is worth it. There is no obligation to use us for delivery.
Both are independent advisory engagements. The difference is breadth: one answers a defined question; the other examines the connected systems, data and processes behind the business.
For a defined system or operational question
Business Systems Review
A focused review when the problem is already reasonably clear and you need an independent view before making a decision.
